Russia Braid

Russia Braid is a popular narrow braid with two parallel interwoven cores, and is usually 3-4mm wide, and made from Rayon yarn. It appears to have a fine middle seam along its length and can be curled in loops and stitched along the centre to decorate fabric bags, patchwork quilts, craft items. lampshades and clothing.
