- Foam Balls. The small balls have hundreds of uses. They are used to for science projects, to make models of the solar system, and they can be threaded into tubular silk ribbon and spaced with metallic beads to create fabric necklaces, covered with lil' pins and beads to make beaded balls, covered with fabric or paper to make decorative bunches of grapes and items for other floral and table arrangements. The balls can be glued together to make models, mobiles, and decorations for window displays (eyes for optical shops), they can be screen printed for advertising material. Other uses are to make Xmas Decorations, by covering with fabric, paint, paper, beads or wrapping with threads and cords.
