Liquid Glitter Fabric Acrylics

Characteristics : Heavy Metals (numbers 3-12) are very brilliant liquid glitter paints that are non-toxic and specifically designed to use on fashion wear of all kinds in addition to general craft use on other surfaces. The glitter won’t harden, crack or peel off when washed. Heavy Metals have a creamy, smooth brushing consistency. Colours can be mixed to create many new colours and dry clear and super bright. Heavy Metals have particles of glitter in a bonding base that secures the brilliant particles of colour to the fabric. Because the base is colourless, the colours of glitter show best on dark-coloured fabrics. Although the Heavy Metals base appears cloudy in the jar, it dries clear and does no yellow. Heavy Metals dry much softer to the touch than other glitter paints on the market and won’t crack, peel or harden. Heavy Metals Light (numbers 50-61)are the same as regular Heavy Metals with the addition of a light-coloured binding base so they really stand out on pastel and white fabrics.

Application:Prepare fabric as instructed. Heavy Metals may be applied using a brush or palette knife. Apply two generous coats with a soft brush. For blending or second coat, apply before first coat dries (within one hour). Allow to dry 48 hours. Hand wash, using a mild, unscented detergent. Hang garment to dry. Clean up with soap and water. Fabric Medium and heat-setting are not required. When used on wood, tin, glass, metals, paper, etc., base coat piece first with acrylic paint.

Notes :

When using Heavy Metals as an accent over Shimmering Pearls or So-Soft fabric paints on fabric, apply Heavy Metals when underpainting is dry to the touch but within one hour of underpainting.

Heavy Metals can be easily intermixed to create many new colour combinations.
